Last updated: 28 October 2026
This notice explains which personal data Sigun Information Technologies and Consulting Ltd collects when you use www.sigun.co.uk, why we use it and what rights you have under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
Who we are
The controller of your personal data is Sigun Information Technologies and Consulting Ltd, 17 Green Lanes, Newington Green, London N16 9BS, United Kingdom.

Please use these details for any question about this notice or about your data.
When you visit the website
When you open a page, the server that hosts the website, run for us by a hosting provider in the European Economic Area (EEA), receives what every browser sends: your IP address, the date and time, the page you asked for, the page you came from, and your browser and operating system.
We use these data to deliver the website and keep it secure and working. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR). The server logs are kept only as long as they are needed for these purposes and then deleted.
The website’s fonts and scripts come from our own server. Until you allow the services described under “Cookies and similar technologies”, opening a page sends no data to other companies.
When you contact us
If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, subject and message. If you email or call us, we receive the details you give us. We use them to answer you and to deal with any follow-up. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries or, where your enquiry is about a contract, taking steps at your request before entering into one (Article 6(1)(f) and (b) UK GDPR). You do not have to give us these data, but without them we cannot reply.
The form delivers your message to our mailbox through MailerSend, Inc., which processes it on our behalf in data centres in the European Union.
To keep automated spam out, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile from Cloudflare, Inc. It loads only on the contact page and checks technical signals from your browser, such as your IP address and browser type. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the form from abuse (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR).
We keep your enquiry for as long as we need it to deal with it and any follow-up, and longer only where the law requires us to keep business records.
Cookies and similar technologies
We store your cookie choice in your browser’s local storage, so that we do not ask again on every page. This is strictly necessary to respect your choice and needs no consent.
The following services load only if you select “Allow” in the cookie banner:
- Google Analytics shows us how the website is used, for example which pages are visited. It sets the cookies
_gaand_ga_*, which last up to two years. - Google Maps shows an interactive map on the contact page. Google sets cookies when the map loads. Until then you see a static map image from our own server.
For users in the UK, both services are provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Our lawful basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR and regulation 6 PECR). You can withdraw it at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing removes the analytics cookies and does not affect what happened before.
Links to other websites
Our pages link to other websites, such as LinkedIn. No data is sent to them unless you follow the link; after that, their own privacy notices apply.
Who receives your data
Apart from our own staff, only the service providers named in this notice receive your data: our hosting provider, MailerSend and Cloudflare, and Google if you have allowed it. We do not sell your data, and we disclose it to public authorities only where the law requires us to.
Transfers outside the UK
Our hosting provider and MailerSend’s data centres are in the EEA, which the UK recognises as giving adequate protection. Cloudflare, Google and MailerSend are US companies and may process data in the United States. They are certified under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (the “UK-US data bridge”), which the UK also recognises as adequate.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- get a copy of your personal data (access);
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- have its use restricted;
- receive the data you gave us in a machine-readable format (portability);
- object at any time to our use of your data based on legitimate interests;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what happened before.
Write to info@sigun.co.uk. We reply within one month and may ask you to confirm your identity. Using your rights is free of charge.
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects.

If you are unhappy with how we use your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF, telephone 0303 123 1113, ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
